Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa volcanoes looming above the treetops can be viewed from this room. The loft is accessed from the living room by way of a securely fastened ships ladder.<br /> <br /> The fully equipped kitchen is ready for your meal preparation.<br /> <br /> This property is very private. You can not see any neighbors. Yet it is close to town.<br /> <br /> Its location is right off of highway 11 in a very dense tropical rain forest. There is an orchid growing warehouse just down the street called Akatsuka Orchid Gardens it's a very beautiful place to visit.<br /> <br /> Just up the road is the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park where you can view the steam vents and there are lava tubes both in the park and down closer to Hilo which are all part of the same series of tubes carved out 500-700 years ago.<br /> <br /> At Richardson Bay 30 minutes from the house is some of the best snorkeling on the islands.
